Morocco: the Bulletin Officiel and its five editions

The Bulletin Officiel of the Kingdom of Morocco is printed by the Imprimerie Officielle (official printing office) in Rabat-Chellah. Issue n° 6840 of 19 December 2019 carries ISSN 0851-1217 and describes itself as being in its 108th year 1. The masthead lists five editions with separate subscription prices 1.

The official translation edition contains the official translation of laws and regulations and of all other decisions or documents whose publication in the Bulletin Officiel is required by law 1. The Arabic general edition carries the original text. For example, law 31-13 on access to information appeared in Arabic in general edition n° 6655 of 12 March 2018, and its French translation in n° 6670 of 3 May 2018 2.

Edition des annonces relatives à l'immatriculation foncière (land registration notices)250 DH 1300 DH 1

Why the land notices edition matters

Morocco's land registration dahir of 12 August 1913, as amended, ties key deadlines to publication in the Bulletin Officiel 9. Under article 24, any person claiming a right in a property under registration may file an opposition within two months of publication of the notice closing the boundary survey 9. After that period no opposition is admissible, save for the exception in article 29 9.

Algeria: the Journal Officiel on joradp.dz

The Secrétariat Général du Gouvernement (SGG, General Secretariat of the Government) runs joradp.dz. The site lets users read the Constitution, open published issues of the Journal Officiel directly and search all texts published in it by theme 4. On 7 November 2026 the latest issues listed were n° 77 of 4 November 2026, n° 76 of 29 October 2026, n° 75 of 25 October 2026 and n° 74 of 20 October 2026 4.

The masthead of issue n° 34 of 10 June 2018 gives a price of 14 dinars for the original edition and 28 dinars for the original with its translation. Notices cost 60 dinars a line 5. Older issues are sold according to a separate scale, and indexes are free for subscribers 5.

Tunisia: the JORT and the RNE electronic journal

Tunisian laws and decrees are published in the Journal Officiel de la République Tunisienne (JORT, Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic). Issue n° 7 of 22 January 2019, for example, carried the government decrees of 21 January 2019 on company name reservation and on beneficial owners 3. Each decree ends with an order that it be published in the JORT 3.

Company notices have a second outlet. The name reservation decree requires the Centre National du Registre des Entreprises to publish a daily list of reserved names in its journal électronique officiel (official electronic journal) 3.

Egypt: Al-Jarida al-Rasmiya and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya

Egypt has two official titles. Both are issued by Al-Hay'a al-'Amma li-Shu'un al-Matabi' al-Amiriya (General Authority for Government Printing Offices), whose website lists them as its daily issues: Al-Jarida al-Rasmiya (The Official Gazette) and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya (The Egyptian Events) 6. The authority describes Al-Matabi' al-Amiriya as the first government press, founded in 1820, and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya as the first official government newspaper, from 1828 6.

The authority takes requests to publish laws, presidential, ministerial and governors' decrees in the two titles 6. Paper subscriptions are annual and start either on 1 January or on 1 July, the start of the financial year 6. A search service covers all laws and decrees published in both titles, and an archive printing service supplies true copies of laws and decrees from them 6. On 7 November 2026 the home page showed Al-Jarida al-Rasmiya issue 45 and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya issue 246, both dated 5 November 2026 6.

Libya and Mauritania

The website of Libya's Ministry of Justice links to Al-Jarida al-Rasmiya al-Libiya (the Libyan Official Gazette) and to the ministry's Markaz al-Ma'lumat wa al-Tawthiq (Information and Documentation Centre) 8. The site groups legislation by subject, including judicial, criminal, social, intellectual property, financial and tourism texts 8.

In Mauritania, the Ministère chargé du Secrétariat Général du Gouvernement (ministry in charge of the General Secretariat of the Government) announced the launch of the digital portal of the Journal Officiel de la République Islamique de Mauritanie on 24 November 2025 7.
