Official registers in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt

This directory lists official registers in North Africa, with the body that keeps each one, what it records and how it can be reached. Morocco's central trade register is kept by OMPIC 1. Tunisia's Registre National des Entreprises rests on law 2018-52 6. Algeria's CNRC answers requests from any interested person 9. Egypt's GAFI has run online incorporation since September 2023 12. Blank cells mean the source opened did not state the fact. No official register source could be opened for Libya or Mauritania.

Notes

  • Egypt's commercial register entry fees in GAFI's investor service centre guide are EGP 56 for a company and EGP 9.5 for a sole proprietorship. The guide is undated 13.
  • OMPIC reported 66,277 new trade register entries in Morocco from January to August 2026 18.
